It actively breaks down compacted sediments, allowing you to pump high-density solids (up to 70% by weight) with ease.

Will this thing actually handle thick mud, or is it just for dirty water?

It’s built for the nasty stuff. This isn’t a standard water pump wrapped in steel. It’s a heavy slurry pump equipped with a high-torque mechanical agitator at the bottom. It actively chews up settled sand, packed silt, and heavy clay, mixing it with water so it can be pumped. If you’re cleaning out tailings ponds, mining sand, or mucking out a marina, it will push up to 70% solids by weight without breaking a sweat.

How do I know if my current excavator can run it?

We cover everything from 10-ton mini-excavators up to 50+ ton heavy rigs. It mounts just like a hydraulic hammer or shear—you use your existing quick coupler or pins, and hook it straight into your machine’s auxiliary hydraulic lines. When you order, you give us your excavator’s make and model, and we’ll configure the pump’s hydraulic motor to match your machine’s exact GPM and PSI. No guesswork, no fried hydraulics.

What happens when it hits rocks, roots, or trash? Does it clog instantly?

We know downtime kills your profit, so we built three lines of defense:
l The Agitator: Shoves oversized rocks out of the way before they reach the inlet.
l Wide Internal Passages: Depending on the model, it lets solids up to 2.5 inches pass straight through the impeller without jamming.
l Optional Side Cutters: If you are dealing with heavy roots, sea grass, or thick clay, we can bolt on dual hydraulic cutters to shred everything before it enters the pump.

Sand eats metal for breakfast. How often am I going to be replacing parts?

If you pump sharp quartz sand all day, things will wear out—that’s physics. But we make sure you get maximum runtime before that happens. The impeller, wear plate, and agitator are all cast from 27% high-chrome alloy. It’s incredibly brittle to impact but insanely resistant to abrasion—outlasting standard cast iron 3 to 1. Plus, the wear parts are modular. Your mechanic can swap the impeller right on-site with basic tools; no need to send it back to a shop.

How far and how deep can I push the material?

Depth depends on your excavator. If you have a long-reach boom, you can go as deep as that boom can dive. As for horizontal distance, the pump generates enough head pressure to push heavy slurry 1,000 to 1,500 feet (300 to 450 meters) through a discharge pipe without needing a booster pump. If you need to go further, let us know and we can talk about an inline booster setup.
